Hello,
Just a few questions with regard to the up and coming show.
We are thinking of putting eliot on the club stand if the offer is still going, but i have a few questions i need answering before we commit.

1) We can only do the 1 day and that will be the Saturday is this ok

2) is there a set time we have to be there at and then leave.

3) Can i just park the car up and go off for a wonder.

4) Do i need to buy tickets

5) is there a convoy going down or are we all just making our own may

6) where about in the show ground is the club spot, i dont want to have to wait until everyone has left before we can leave.

I know that some of these may seem a little ungrateful considering the amazing opportunity to show our car the show, its just we have a slight time limit on things, due to work commitments.

Yes, but if you could hand your passes back to us at the end of the day so someone else can use them on the Sunday that would be good.

2) is there a set time we have to be there at and then leave.

Gates open at 8.30am for exhibitors to set up on both days, cars have to be parked up on club stand by 10am when the doors open to public.

The cars then cannot be moved from the stand until after 5pm (after all the public have left) and cars must be out by 6pm on Saturday or they can be left overnight but you will not have access to them between 6pm and 8.30am on Sunday as the gates will be locked up. On the Sunday cars can't be moved from the stand until after 4.30pm and cars must be out by 5.30pm.

3) Can i just park the car up and go off for a wonder.

Once the car is park up on the stand you are then free to do whatever you wish, only thing is we may need you to cover the stand for a hour or so at some point during the day, similar to Stanford hall.

4) Do i need to buy tickets

Nope, not if you are putting your car on the club stand, you will be given a car pass which you show at the office and you will be given two free weekend exhibitor wrist bands. But if you are only staying for one day we will need to steal your passes back for the person taking your place on the stand on the Sunday.

5) is there a convoy going down or are we all just making our own may

Not sure about this yet, we will arrange this nearer the time when we have more of an idea who is going and what days they are going.

6) where about in the show ground is the club spot, i dont want to have to wait until everyone has left before we can leave.

The club show area is around the back of the main building on the concrete area overlooking the racecourse. I don’t know our exact position in the club show area but there is normally good access to the stands and you should be able to get out easily. Although no cars are allowed to be moved from the show area until all the public have left the show so you will have to stay until at least 5pm on Saturday or 4.30pm on Sunday.

Thanks for your reply i will speak with Gemma and see if all is ok, looks good to me. Can you also send me 2 membership forms as i have 2 friends wanting to join the club 1 of whom i think may show their bug at Volksworld show if their is still a spot.

Dose anyone want 2 day tickets for the saturday, i bought these before i know the club had a stand so dont need them, £24 for the pair.

Also can anyone collect a wheel and a set of seatbelt for me on the sunday ?

I am really sorry to say this but unfortunately we haven't got enough members willing to do the club stand at the Volksworld show so we will probably have to send the tickets back to them. I will confirm this with them and let you all know shortly.
